Condolences for Jared Lee Edge

Mary Reid and Kristin posted on 6/22/21

Dear Edge Family, Kristin and I are so very sorry to hear of Jared's passing. Kristin was involved with Braveheart Therapeutic Riding with Jared, and the baseball Challenger league; Jared always had his beautiful smile, that touched everyone's hearts. We last last him at the Festival of Trees in 2019, and spoke to him and Georgia. God has gained a very special young man in Heaven, and we offer our sympathy to All of the Edge Family.

I had the honor of being Jared's Individual Aide for 9 wonderful and entertaining years. Starting at Rochester Elementary 3rd grade, MS, and JH. Then Williamsville HS for his first 3 years. He was always so happy, kind and loving. He loved singing "School Bus Kareoke" wherever we went. I am a better person and mother for having been part of Jared's earlier life! Run, sing and ride with Jesus my dear Jared! Praying for The Edge Family (Steve, Georgia, Derek and Erica)

I am happy to have been given the privilege to know Jared at WHS. He could bring a smile to so many. And, I so enjoyed his visits to my restaurant with all of you. He will be missed. Thinking of and praying for all his family.

I loved getting to know Jared when he was in high school and visiting with him when hecame into the library and, later, when we ran into each other. You are right — he sure did ihave an impact on so many. Rest in peace, Jared. I know now your body is whole to match your bright mind and heart.

I wanted to tell you how Jared has touched my heart very deeply. Your family has also made an impact on my heart. Just seeing how you all love each other and take such great care of Jared. Mostly I lived when he sang in church. It brought tears to my eyes, tears of joy!

Jared had such a sweet spirit and he loved to tease, as well as being teased. He loved music and I enjoyed when he sang with all his heart. Jared you will be missed but I know we will see each other again.
