I consider myself very fortunate to have been a colleague of Nancy in Governor Edgar's administration and a friend during those years and for many years thereafter. She was an outstanding public servant and a terrific human being. She truly she was a class act.

Nancy was a great friend to so many. I don't believe she ever met a stranger. She showed so many women in government how to lead with strength, style and beauty. She will be dearly missed.

To say the least I was shocked to hear of Nancy's passing. Although we have not stayed close over the years, Nancy was one of my two best friends growing up at Sacred Heart Grade School and Sacred Heart Academy. I am so sorry to hear of her death, and send my most heart felt sympathies to Mark and other loved ones. I know she will be missed greatly. Marilyn (Sybil) Campbell

I was blessed with the opportunity to know Nancy and work for her at the Department of Human Services when she was the Chief of Staff. She was one of the most professional and gifted people I have ever known. My thoughts and condolences to her family and friends. She was a beautiful person with a great capacity for caring and giving. Those who knew her were fortunate to have that opportunity. I will miss her and always remember the years we spent together
