Dear Carolyn and family, I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of a friend Dave. He was such a mentor during my ministry at Westminster and at the Presbytery level. My husband and I considered him a wonderful friend. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Donna Dunnuck

So sorry to hear of Dave's passing, may the Lord be with you in this time. I have many good memories of him with my dad Jack and Jim Bob Tison, they were quite a unique group when they were together.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We did not have the honor of knowing him but your dedication to the community is a great legacy.

I miss him and always will cherish our family's times with him. He was an Uncle, but so much more! Everytime we all talked or visited with Dave's family, it was pure love, admiration, joy, and Fun! He made sure of that! I will never forget you. I pray for strength and healing for Carolyn and all the MacDonnaton, for my family, and for all those who knew him. God Bless.

Dear Carolyn, my deepest condolences to you, and also to your family. I regret very much that I could not see him another time. He was a good friend to me, and also to Charlotte, when I was in a tight spot. I remember his great sense of humor, and his wisdom. I reckon, they don't make them like that anymore. May the Lord watch over you and grant you comfort and assurance that Dave is with the Lord. Peace. Hans.

Carolyn and family, You have my deepest sympathy on the passing of David. Even though you know that he is at peace and in a better place, it is still difficult when you lose a loved one. May God wrap his loving arms around you and give you peace.

Dave was the executive presbyter in Southeastern Illinois Presbytery when I was taken under care and eventually ordained. His guidance, sense of humor, and support were all greatly appreciated. "Well done, O good and faithful servant."

Dear Carolyn and Family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I enjoyed so much all the times we had at our faculty fun times when families were together. It was so nice to be able to keep in contact with you in Springfield after we moved on to other things. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Love to all of you. Connie

Dear Carolyn and family, Dave was a special man...one of integrity, honesty and openness. He was a great help to me when I worked in the Presbytery of So. Illinois as regional staff person for the Foundation. Mainly I remember him at Chuck's retirement party in 1998 he thoroughly enjoyed the ribbing Chuck received. And his tenderness with me before Chuck died. He will be missed. Cordially, Jane Watt. .

Dear Carolyn and family: Although I thought Dave was warm and dear and devoted, I knew members of his family that taught me that they had a warm, wonderful life with the honorable and inspirational, Reverend David MacDonna. He will forever be with you as my dad has always been with Emma and me. God bless you as you grieve his loss.
