Condolences for Lucille Whitehead

I remember Lucille fondly for her warm hospitality at the time of my brother Dave and her daughter Sara's wedding and several subsequent visits I made through the years to the Midwest. I knew her to be a devout woman with much endurance who met her challenges with fortitude.

I lived close to Lucille and her wonderful family when I was a child and her boys were some of my best friends, both Robert and Richard. I visited Robert or Richard frequently and Lucille always made me feel welcome, often inviting me for lunch which I never accepted but appreciated her invitation. Lucille always made me feel welcome at her house even if Robert and I became a little noisy. She always treated me as if I was one of the family. I often felt more comfortable at her house than I did my own. Thanks so much for the memories, Lucille. You are now one of god's special angels. Ron Heffren
