Wilma M. Collins, 93, of Springfield, died at 1:50 pm Monday, September 5, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center. She was born December 7, 1922 in Mulberry, KS to Benjamin and Jessie Graham Moody. She married Joseph Collins on May 20, 1944 and he preceded her in death on July 31, 2005.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia (Gilbert) Jennings of Prattville, AL; three sons, James (Linda) Collins of Springfield, Richard Collins of Murrayville, IL and Fletcher (Susan) Collins; six grandchildren, Chris Collins, Timothy Collins, Joshua (Rachel) Jennings, Jeremiah (Deanna) Jennings, Fletcher Collins, Jr. and Travis Collins; three great grandchildren, Katie Collins, Brooklyn Jennings and Noah Jennings and one niece, Sharon Dorwart. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Virgil, Lester and Clarence Moody and two sisters, Chrystal Wolford and Opal Dodd.

Wilma worked for eight years at Franklin Life Insurance Company and retired after six years from the State of Illinois Department of Revenue. She was an avid BUNCO player.

Visitation: 11am – 1pm, Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Staab Funeral Home.

Graveside Service: 10 am, Monday, September 12, 2016 at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
