William E. Camille

William E. Camille, 76, of Sherman, died at 2:05 pm, Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born August 14, 1941 in Springfield to William J. and Lillian M. (Wolfe) Camille. He married Karen Fuchs on June 3, 1967.

Surviving are his wife, Karen of Sherman; one son, Vince (Melissa) Camille of Sherman; two grandchildren, Michael and Ryann Camille; one niece, Kristy and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, William Stephen Camille and one brother, Mark Camille.

William was a member of St. John Vianney Church. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He loved all sports including golf, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.

He retired from the State of Illinois and had been a teacher, principal, and coach in New Berlin, IL.

Visitation: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Staab Funeral Home – Sherman.

Funeral Service: 12:00 pm, Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Staab Funeral Home – Sherman with Monsignor John Ossola Officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in New Berlin.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Salvation Army.
