Virginia M. Neff
GIRARD ” Virginia M. Neff, 78, of Girard, formerly of Petersburg and Springfield, died Friday, August 3, 2007 at Pleasant Hill Village.
She was born June 3, 1929 in Williamsville, IL, the daughter of Edgar and Marie Stone Beauchamp. Her parents preceded her in death.
Ms. Neff was a secretary at various locations. She was of the Christian faith. She was a former member of the Springfield Garden Club and Bonsai Society.
Survivors: two daughters, Nancy (husband, Stephen) Hostick of Springfield and Shelley (husband, Stephen) Coady of Springfield; two sons, Mike Neff of Kansas City, MO and Dennis (wife, Lynn) Neff of Dawson; eight grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Village.
Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, Tuesday, August 7, 2007. Services: 12:00 noon, Tuesday, August 7, 2007, Reverend Howard Shockey officiating. Burial: Roselawn Memorial Park. Staab Funeral Home of Service.
