Thomas Warren Wright, 72, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at his home. He was born on April 26, 1949 in Decatur, the son of Thomas J. and Martha Lou (Sexton) Wright and they precede him in death.
He is survived by his two sons, Derek Embree (fiancé, Carrie Turner) and Thomas Warren Wright, Jr.; three daughters, Annie Rhodes, Carrie A. Cox and Tiffany Ramos; two brothers, Tim Wright and Wayne Wright; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Thomas was a United States Navy veteran.
Graveside Service: 11 am, Friday, November 19, 2021 at Camp Butler National Cemetery where military honors will be conducted.
CDC protocol shall be followed.

This man fathered me. My name was tatoo'd on his fingers. I was his 4th sired. He was my mother's high-school sweetheart. She protected me from him for a long part of my life.. I met him in person when I was 19. She passed on the very day after he did. September 17, 2021.
