I worked with Tom on many public issues and he always conducted himself with high honor and good humor. We worked together on education questions and policies which included Lincoln Land Community College. He could always be counted on to give calm and common sense advice on sometimes controversial issues. He was truly a "Lincoln hearted man" and will be missed.
