Thelma L. Furrow, 92, of Springfield, died at 8:45 pm, Sunday, May 14, 2017 at St. John’s Hospital. She was born November 28, 1924 in Sherman, to Joseph F. and Agnes M. Garrison Henderson. She married George Furrow on December 12, 1959 and he preceded her in death on October 27, 1993.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda (Roger) DeHart of Chatham; four grandchildren, Robert (Mary Luise) DeHart, Michael (Leanne) DeHart, Roger (Heather) DeHart and Mark (Kathy) Smith; six great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; one sister-in-law, Rose Marie Henderson and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter, Sharon Dishon; one sister, Eileen Smith; two brothers, Joseph F. and Donald Robert Henderson and one son-in-law, Gene Smith.
Thelma was a homemaker.
Per her wishes no services will be held.
