Sylvia Marie Chaney

Springfield, died at 5:58 pm, Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at her home. She was born February 23, 1943 in Pikeville, KY to Woodrow and Maudie Mae Chaney.
Survivors include one daughter Angela Gonzalez of Springfield, one son, Everette Blankenship of Springfield; three grandchildren, Maudie, Hope and Jamie Gibson; two great grandchildren Kailyn and Javonni Gibson; two sisters, two brothers and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her parents; one daughter, Ervie Gibson and one son, Ervin Gibson preceded her in death.
Sylvia was a resident of Springfield for more than twenty years. She had lived in Chicago for thirty years and spent her childhood in Kentucky. She retired from Goodwill Industries.
Visitation: 5-6 pm, Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Staab Funeral Home.
