Suzanne Lawson, 69, of Springfield, died at 5:57 p.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Lewis Memorial Christian Village. She was born April 2, 1947 in Mechanicsburg to Lloyd R. and Georgia L. Gray Waddell. She married Robert Lee Lawson on March 21, 1976.
Survivors include husband, Robert Lee Lawson of Springfield; one daughter, Bonnie McCoy of Springfield; two sons, Robin (Judi) McCoy and Michael (Darci) McCoy both of Springfield; seven grandchildren, Steven McCoy, Scotty McCoy, Eric McCoy, Katherine McCoy, Tiffany (LaRue) Sheib, Krystal Marshall and Victoria McCoy; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Douglas (Sheila) Waddell of Freemont, CA; close friends, Kenny (Christine) Loyd, Sr. of Springfield and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Lowell, Kenny and Pat Waddell and one sister, Maxine Lively.
Suzanne loved to shop, watch tv, and play cards. She loved her dog “Shorty” and spending time with her family. She was a resident of Springfield most of her life and was a nurses aid for 20 years at several nursing homes in the Springfield area she also worked several years for Lincoln Cab Company.
Graveside Service: 10 am, Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Thomas Williams officiating.
