Stephen Joseph Miller

Stephen Jospeh Miller, Jr. of Tallula, formerly of Springfield died at St. John’s Hospital on Wednesday, April 22, 2009. He was born on June 10, 1940 in Springfield, Illinois to Stephen J. Miller, Sr. and Cecelia Slofkoski Miller. He is survived by 3 daughters, Gina Marie Ray of Springfield, Malisa (husband: Derek) Mawbray of Grottoes, VA and AManda Miller of LasVegas, NV; 1 son Waylon (companion: Brittany Beard) Miller of Tallula, several grandchildren; 1 sister Yvonne (husband: STan) Johnson of Springfield; 1 brother John a. (wife: Marcha) Miller of Petersburg and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 son Joe Miller. Steve was a U.S. Marine Veteran. He was of the catholic fith and enjoyed working on cars. We worked as a bricklayer.
