Russell “Rusty” A. Simmons, 64, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at his home. He was born January 8, 1957, in Springfield, the son of Russell P. and Elizbeth (Dowllar) Simmons and they preceded him in death.
Survivors include son, Justin M. Simmons of Springfield; three grandchildren, Kira, Ariel and Justin, Jr.; and one sister, Pat (Stephen) Gourley of Chesterfield.
Rusty was an avid reader. He enjoyed fishing and nature.
Visitation: 10 – 11:30 am, Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.
Graveside Service: 12 pm, Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Roselawn Memorial Park.
