Rosabell Shanle, 91, of Springfield, formerly of Buffalo died at 1:25 am Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Concordia Village. She was born November 19, 1921 in Springfield to Ivan and Susan Gray Falconer. She married Loren Shanle on September 5, 1942. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, three sisters and a grandson.
Surviving are her husband of 70 years, Loren; daughter, Sandi (Dudley) Younkin of St. Paul, MN; three sons, Loren (Karen) Shanle of Rochester, Larry (Sheri) Shanle of Dawson and David (Pam) Shanle of Sherman; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Trutter of Glenarm and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Shanle lived in Buffalo most of her life. She worked as a nurse for her brother, Dr. Falconer and also worked at Buffalo Agency, Inc. for 40 years. She was a member of St. James Church in Riverton.
Visitation: 9-10 am Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at St. James Church in Riverton.
Funeral Mass: 10 am Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at St. James Church with Reverend Raphael Paul DeMoreno officiating. Burial will follow at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
