PAWNEE – Ron Brett Rollo Perry, 49, of Pawnee died at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, April 12, 2009, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 3, 1960, in Springfield.
He married Debra Knopp on Oct. 12, 1996. He is survived by his wife, Debra K. Perry of Pawnee; his parents, Linda (husband, Bill) Campbell of Green City, Mo. and Carl (wife, Olga) Perry of Jacksonville; a sister, Roberta (husband, Mike) Woodrow of Las Vegas; a grandmother, Zelda Nelson of Milan, Mo.; three nieces; three nephews; a great-niece; and a great-nephew.
Ron was a resident of Pawnee since 1996. He worked for AT&T in technical support. He formerly worked in motorcycle sales in Springfield and Taylorville.
He graduated from Chatham Glenwood High School. He was a member of the Jacksonville Area Bass Anglers Club and a lifetime member of B.A.S.S. He enjoyed bass fishing, boating, motorcycles, and building and racing slot cars.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at Staab Funeral Home.
