Robert Michael Sayre, 56, of Springfield passed away, Thursday, February 16, 2017 at his home. He was born September 12, 1960, in Springfield, to Robert and Helen Sayre. He married Kimberly on April 25, 1991 and she survives.
Also surviving are his children Barbie Jo (Ardell), Joshua (Hydee Jo) and Kaytie (Aaron) and grandchildren, Isabella, Caleb, Gracie, Ardell Jr., Ayden and Colton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Arthur and his dog, Sassy.
Robert was a member of Church of the Little Flower. He worked for the City of Springfield as security for twenty-eight years with CWLP.
He enjoyed cooking, traveling, swimming, golfing and especially spending time with his family. He was always there to help others in need.
Visitation: 5-7 pm, Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.
Funeral Service: 1 pm, Friday, February 24, 2017 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield, with Reverend Jim Isaacson officiating.
Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
