Robert H. Clark, 72, of Pleasant Plains, died at 6 pm, Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born September 9, 1938 in Springfield, Illinois to Carl W. and Nora Mae Shaffer Clark. He married Donna M. Bell on May 13, 1961 and she preceded him in death on February 25, 1980. Also preceding him in death were his father and on sister, Carol Chastain.
Survivors include his mother; Nora Mae Hallmark of Springfield; companion, Barb Micko of Pleasant Plains three daughters Leslie (Gregory) Clark-Kater and Dana Gathman both of Sherman and Carla Clark of Williamsville; one son, Rob Clark (girlfriend: Dawn Orlove); two grandchildren, Brian Kater and Gage Gathman; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary (Gary) Marrs of Naperville and Nancy Clark of Raleigh, aunt and uncle, Betty & Joe Shaffer and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Robert was an Honorary lifetime member of the Anchor Boat Club. He lived in the Williamsville area most of his life and retired as a general contractor as owner/operator.

Memorial Service: 6:30 pm, Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Staab Funeral Home. Private Burial will be held in Wolf Creek Cemetery

BOB WAS A GOOD FRIEND AND MADE MANY VISITS TO WALTER AND I, ESPECIALLY DURING WALTER'S ILLNESS. HE ALSO DID A LOT OF SPECIAL FAVORS FOR US BOTH. I KNOW THAT HE WILL BE MISSED BY MANY AND I OFFER MY SYMPATHY AT HIS PASSING. JANET HICKEY
