ASHLAND – Randy Woodard, 48, of Ashland died at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 10, 2010, at his home.
He was born Sept. 20, 1961, in Lebanon, Ind., the son of David and Bonnie Fearnow Woodard. He married Rosalie Cook on May 15, 1983.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Woodard; grandparents, Carl and Eula; and a nephew, Joshua Knoles.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalie Woodard of Ashland; two sons, Ricky Lee and Ryan Levi Woodard; a daughter, Raquel Lynn Woodard; a sister, Annette (Dan) Kahlenberg; father and stepmother, David (Joyce) Woodard; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Randy lived in Ashland for most of his life. He worked for the Illinois Secretary of State. He was Deacon of Ashland Church of Christ and was a member of Laborers International Union Local 477 in Springfield.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2010, at Staab Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Staab Funeral Home, with the
Rev. Ken Gennicks and the Rev. Howard Chartier officiating. Burial will be at Salisbury Cemetery.
