Memories of Prudie for me include spending a fair amount of time in their home playing with her daughter and my Best friend LeAnn. I remember well hours and hours playing in the yard and basement of their house on N. Milton Ave., Springfield, IL. Prudie was my 4-H leader and lead we girls in sewing and cooking, etc. Always welcoming, always creative, always kind with open door. I would have been there even more but for my mom trying to keep me from being an all too frequent presence and/or pest! Pleasant memories of a lovely woman and mom to my best childhood friend! Blessings to Prudie’s family as they navigate life without her while recounting all she planted in their hearts and lives for the rest of their lives. Thanks be to God for godly parents and their many sacrifices for their families.
