Phyllis M. Hull, of Petersburg, died at 2:47 p.m., on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at St. John’s Hospital. She was born September 20, 1941 to Clifford F. and Vera W. Liggett Bee, Sr. She married Alfred “Bud” T. Hull on April 23, 1960 and he preceded her in death in 1996 Also preceding her in death were her parents, one sister: Marilyn Sue Bee and two great grandchildren.
She is survived by three daughters: Tina Becker (fiancé John Rasmussen) of Kahoka, MO, Tammy (Edward) Ware of Athens, and Terri (Mike) Brooks of Springfield; three brothers, Floyd (Elena) Bee, Clifford F. (Libby) Bee, Jr. and Raymond P. (Connie) Bee all of Springfield; Nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a resident of Springfield for most of her life, and was employed by the Illinois Department of Revenue, retiring in 1991.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m., Monday, April 11, 2011 at Staab Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Staab Funeral Home. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Kyndra Hull Education Fund C/O Athens State Bank.
