Paul L. White, 73, of Herrick, IL, formerly of Springfield, died at his residence, Sunday, December 4, 2011. He was born August 5, 1938 in Springfield, IL, the son of Harry Marshall and Moselle Garlits White. Paul married Lorraine J. Jessee on November 13, 1999 and she survives. He is also survived by a step-daughter, Hilah Williams of Springfield; daughter, Judith Ann White of Colorado Springs, CO; son, Chris Lawrence White of Colorado Springs, CO; step-son, Russ Givens of Mason City, IA; step daughters, Cheryl Clevenger and Cindy Blankenship both of Springfield and Rebecca Ferguson of St. Louis, MO; one sister and two brothers, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife of thirty three and a half years, Patricia A. Gerula-White.
Paul retired as an accountant with the State of Illinois Department of Public Aid. He had formerly worked for First National Bank, and had been a manager at Kroger’s on Clear Lake Avenue. He was a member of both the Eagles Club and American Legion. Paul enjoyed target practice with his buddies at the shooting range and caring for his cows and tending to his farm.
Visitation: 10-11 am, Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at Staab Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11am, Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Staab Funeral Home, with Pastor Greg White officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Pana, IL, Children’s Miracle Network, or Charity of Donor’s Choice.

Lorraine, so sorry to hear of Paul's death didn't hear about it until later. Am so glad I came out an visited with him. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
