SPRINGFIELD – Pamela Jo Delaney, 52, of Springfield died at 1:54 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 7, 1956, in Springfield, the daughter of James Benjamin and Mary Lou Lichlyter Long Sr.
Mrs. Delaney, a resident of Springfield most of her life, was a homemaker.
Surviving are a daughter, Charlotte Cartwright of Springfield; two grandchildren, Bailey and Tabitha Cartwright; parents, James and Mary Lou Long Sr. of Springfield; sisters, Karen Hitt, Venita Lyons and Shearl Lohrenz, all of Springfield and Teri Farmer of Tucson, Ariz.; brothers, James Benjamin Long Jr. and Kelvin Long, both of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of funeral services at 10 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2009, at Staab Funeral Home with Vaughn Beeman officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
