My mom, little brother, and I Will greatly miss Kojak. He taught me and my little brother alot about life and especially food service. We all worked with him at sunrise cafe and he was the life of the kitchen. I'll never forget he made me a cane when we were in a wedding together because he knew my knees gave out at times.. Many good nights hanging out in the garage playing games and such. You will be greatly missed my friend....

Man, KoJak was one of the funniest dudes I’d ever met. We attended junior high school and high school together. He kept us all laughing all the time. I would laugh so hard my stomach and side would hurt,, tears would roll down my eyes from all the laughter. He was a great friend to us all, and he could talk more noise than a semi truck laying on its horn. You will be missed my good brother! ✌

I am heart broken to hear the passing of our dear friend. When me and my husband got married 27 years ago Kojak got us Tupperware as a gift, we laughed so hard being that he knew I couldn't cook! Loved seeing him at the Spaghetti shop and would see him a few places cleaning windows for some friends restaurant. Time would pass and we didn't see each other but when we did it was like no time passed at all. He will be missed by so many, he touched a lot of people in his short time here. I am better to have known him. Prayers to the family

Man uncle Kojak!… This hurt worse than when I was in high school and you found out that I took up wrestling. You would come to the practices and one practice I was cross-faced and wanted to quit but you came and stopped me, gave me some pointers and told me that if my nose wasn’t broke then that was not a cross-face. Some how the conversations I had with you always gave me confidence that I could do anything. I miss the bowling tournaments, the days and nights in the garage playing Galaga and PACMan. I remember first bringing my wife to meet you that Fourth of July 2 years ago and you and her bonded and that was one of the best days of my life. You reheated some of the best bbq I had that year, we had some great laughs and I played Galaga and Pac-Man. I used to run to your house when I got in trouble with my dad. And I hated leaving!! Thank You Uncle Kojak For Letting Me Know I Was Loved Especially At Times I Didnt Feel It. We Love You Uncle Kojak.

Orlando was a God sent brother to me and my siblings and a additional to my mother. We all loved him very much. He touched our lives in a special way. His smile, his humor, his presence and the joy he brought into our lived will be deeply missed. Though my heart is heavy, I can rejoice in knowing two things, Orlando was a person who "lived." Some just exist. He lived! He also knew God! He had his own personal relationship with his creator. We all are made up of good & bad therefore we commit good & bad acts but Orlando left far more of a positive mark in this world and I have no doubt where he rests! I love you & I'm missing you my brother. My sincere condolences to his mother, to wife, Flo, to his chikdren, and all who held him dear.

To Mop, (Kojak) as I never made the change to the newest nickname. I have been so fortunate to know you as a strong, energetic, and funny person since we were wee kids. You are family and I always adored your nickname for me "Chocolate Jenny". I was so happy to have the fun times that we shared. Even on the many visits when wrestling on the front porch with my brother Tony aggravated me to no end. That excelled you to the awesome wrestler you became in high-school. You will be sorely missed. I love you beyond, Chocolate Jenny

Big O, you left me too soon, everytime I’d see you it was always CK, what’s going on and then a hug. We enjoyed lots of ballgames, Cardinals and Illini…but the best was going to Indy and watching the Bulls playoff game against Pacers. And of course, we had to stop at White Castle after and get you the Crave Case! You helped me in so many ways, through business crisis and personal matters. We climbed some big mountains and you were always there. Never missed a single day of work due to illness until cancer struck. Even then, many days you worked thru the pain and discomfort. The Big O was my main man for years. I’ll never forget and neither will my daughters. They loved you. Not the way I wanted to say goodbye…but rest assured you will never be forgotten. Thanks for all the thousands of pounds of spaghetti you cooked and for making all of us better human beings. Rest In Peace, my friend and brother.

There is not one memory about you that hasnt put a smile on my face. You were a dear friend or mine and always had my back. When I needed to just vent you always had a ear to listen. I can remember all the years we work together at Spaghetti Shop and we would cook lunch everyday together. You help me with so many birthday parties, weather it was baking cookies and decorating them, helping me build a life size board game, and cutting out all those dog bones. The guy says we would get all the prep done just so you could have me watch whatever movie you watch the day before. The stories you told me about your man garage/cave. These are memories I will forever hold close to my heart. You are a friend, mentor, and family. Tell Charlie Hi for me as I know he was waiting to greet you a the golden gate. Forever in my heart.you will be missed by so many.

My uncle was one of the greatest. I remember him taking me to get my ears pierced. I also remember going skating with him and my cousin when I was pregnant and he was like girl you better be careful doing that. Always funny caring and a light of life. I will miss you so much but I’m glad to know you’re free from pain and gained your wings. I love ❤️ you. Until we meet again.
