Olive Marie Mably, 81, of Riverton, IL died at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Lewis Memorial Christian Village. She was born on July 31, 1930 in Salem, IL to Forest and Mamie King Sanders. She married Jerry F. Mably on September 21, 1957 and he preceded her in death on December 2, 2005. Also preceding her in death were her parents.
Surviving are three sons, Steven D. Mably of Riverton, IL, Thomas A. (Mary) Mably of Madison, WI and Martin W. (Anissa) Mably of Elk River, MN, six grandchildren, Christopher G. (Missy), Blaine L. (Lisa), Austin J. (Xhoana), Elizabeth A., Enya M. and Erin L. Mably and four great grandchildren, Kylie M., Aiden M., Isaac W. and Macie R. Mably and one brother, Ellis (Karen) Sanders of Robinson, IL.
Olive was a Springfield resident most of her life. She was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. She was past president of the Pleasant Plains Women’s Club and was a homemaker.
Visitation: 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Staab Funeral Home.
Lie in State: 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church with Reverend Dr. Wayne Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
