Natalie Eden Mueller, 92 of Springfield died Sunday, April 14, 2013 at 11:23 pm, at Memorial Medical Center.
Natalie was born September 30, 1920 in Lincoln, RI, the daughter of Harry James and Eden Rowe Walker. She married John P. Mueller in 1954 and he preceded her in death in 2003. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Walker Mueller in 1959 and a brother Harry Walker
Survivors are her daughter, Vicki (John) Harbauer of Springfield, two step-daughters, Lynn Wright of Las Vegas, Leslie Mueller of California; step-son, Larry Mueller of California; two grandsons, Jeremy (Lori) Huffstedtler, Eric Huffstedtler, granddaughter, Sarah (Clay) Clancy and three great grandchildren.
Natalie was a member of the United States Army serving during WWII as a Lieutenant Army nurse. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Eastern Star. Natalie retired from Memorial Medical Center after 32 years as an anesthetist.
Graveside Service: 12 noon, Friday, April 19, 2013 at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Dr. Roger Ross officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Sangamon County Interveterans Burial Detail.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or 1st United Methodist Church.
