SPRINGFIELD – Myles A. Capranica, 23, of Springfield died at 10:42 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009.
He was born Feb. 18, 1986, in Springfield, the son of Michael and Holli C. Cole Capranica.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Nadine Cole and paternal grandparents, Ann and Alfred Capranica.
He is survived by his father, Mike Capranica of Springfield; and mother and stepfather, Holli and Don Hohimer of Pawnee; sister, Hannah Capranica of Athens; half-brother, Coleton Perce of Chatham; grandfather, Russ Cole of Willows, Calif.; aunts and uncles, James and Jeannie Capranica, Nick and Dawn Capranica, Linda and Augie Casson, Cathy and David Haney, Laura Capranica, Victor and Susan Capranica and Todd Cole; and several cousins.
Myles was a carpenter for Newman Alton Construction. He was a 2005 graduate of Athens High School. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed hanging out with his friends and riding four wheelers. Myles attended West Side Christian Church. He was a wonderful boy, what every parent would want. He would do anything for anybody and was good at everything he did. He had a constant desire to succeed and very high expectations. He was kindhearted and very caring with a beautiful enlightening smile. He will be greatly missed by the many people who love him.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2009, at Staab Funeral Home, with Vaughn Beeman officiating.
Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Williamsville.
