Mildred C. Vieira, 96, of Springfield, IL died at 6:48 pm, Friday, May 4, 2018, at Villa East. She was born August 20, 1921, in Louder, IL to Roy and Edith Weiland Wilkerson. She married Tony Vieira in 1947.
She is survived by two daughters: Margaret Sue (Charles) Reiser of Zion and Nancy K. (Dennis) Rowe of Rochester; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Vieira in 1991; son, Tony David Vieira; daughter, Marilyn Jean Vieira; her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
Mildred was homemaker as well as a manager of Dairy Queen and a member of Lakeside Church of Christ. She enjoyed taking care of her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
Visitation: 9:30 – 10:30 am, Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Lakeside Church of Christ.
Funeral Service: 10:30 am, Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Lakeside Church of Christ with Adam Cozort officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
