Maxwell L. “Boo” Wise, 31, of Springfield, continued his journey to Heaven at 4:18 am, Saturday, June 2, 2012 at St. John’s Hospital. He was born October 23, 1980 in Springfield, to Ernest L. and Mary Ann Edie Sager.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Sager of Springfield, father, Ernest Sager of Springfield; four sisters, Tina Wise, Melinda (Hoang Thong) Wise, Heather (James Shanks) Wise and Robin (Charles) McLean all of Springfield; one brother, Michael (Barbara) Wise of Springfield; girlfriend, Jill Dyer of Springfield and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Maxwell was a member of West Side Christian Church. He was a member of AA. Enjoyed working with and caring for animals and enjoyed spending time with kids. He worked as a carpenter and remodeler.
Visitation: 11 am – 1 pm, Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Staab Funeral Home.

I just miss you and my other family members so much and it was sad that lots of my family members died that year and even I visited illinois for christmas but when i did I saw your ashes and I started crying because I saw you I miss you so much and still remember you forever you just died so young and now it has been 6 years of you being gone, I wish you were still here and so we can spend time with each other and I could give you at least one more hug, why did you have to die so young because it is just not fair, I need you here right now I wish you were still here till I die which I would be down here for a long time and I wish I could talk to you right now and you were only 31 and now I am 14 about to be 15 and I was only 9 when you died I never spent that much time seeing you and all of that so I love you and I miss you xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo BTW grandma got a new house but I saw your things and I looked inside it was ur body and it said Maxwell I asked grandma where it was at and I found it and I started crying So I love you uncle max and I was I could spend every moment with you right now It wasn't just fair for you to be taken so you So I do love you Uncle max and I always will bye uncle max xoxoxoxoxoxo
