Mary Jo Walker, 87, Springfield, died at 1:28 pm, Saturday, July 29, 2017, at St. John’s Hospital. She was born July 23, 1930, to Paul C. and Maude Edith (Lemons) Wolf. She married Donald Alden Walker on February 17, 1952, and he survives.

Also surviving are her four children: Nancy Walker, Mary Lynn Bartolomucci, Ronald Walker and Donald (Beverly) Walker; son-in-law, William Volk, all of Springfield, seven grandchildren: Jason Volk, Rachel and Adam Volk, Michelle Rispoli, Lyndi Leskovar (Eric), Tara Antonacci (companion, Mitchell Little), and Christopher (Megan) Antonacci, three great-grandchildren: Lexes O’Hara, Austin Antonacci (companion, Dezaray Moore), and Ava Antonacci and two great-great grandchildren, Zoey Antonacci and Carson Moore. Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Donna Ann Volk.

Mary Jo was a homemaker and an avid Cubs fan and member of Cherry Hills Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Visitation: 9:30 am – 10:30 am, Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Funeral Service: 10:30 am, Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield with Reverend Mary Ellen Sharp officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
