Mary E. Steinhour, 80, of Springfield, died at 8:36 a.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at her home. She was born on November 4, 1930 in Champaign, IL to Vincent and Emma Faulkner Palmisano. She married William Steinhour, Sr. on September 16, 1951. Mary is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Richard and Joseph.
Mary is survived by her spouse, William Steinhour, Sr., a daughter Linda (Mark) Patrick and a son William (Beth) Steinhour, Jr. all of Springfield; 5 grandchildren Doug, Jeff, and Nathan Patrick, William (Kristen) Steinhour and Alicia (Tim) Gronli; 2 great grandchildren Will Steinhour and Alexandra Ann Gronli; a sister Helen Hall of Virden and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Steinhour was a member of the Church of the Little Flower and retired from the Pool Center where she was a bookkeeper.
Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 31, 2011 at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Monsignor John Ossola officiating.
