SPRINGFIELD – Mary E. Ingram, 87, of Springfield died at 12:40 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, at Heritage Manor.
She was born March 2, 1922, in Missouri, the daughter of Clarence Ray and Bessie Mae Sanders Irvin. She married Ogan Ingram in 1950; he preceded her in death in July 1970.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Delbert Ray Irvin and Pearl Leland Irvin; and a sister, Sarah Jane Shipley.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary M. McClintock of Springfield; a grandson, John R. (Amy) McClintock of Salisbury, Md.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mary was a resident of Springfield since 1950 and was a homemaker. She was a member of Cherry Hills Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her fruits and vegetables
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009, at Staab Funeral Home, with Pastor Gary Nelsen officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
