SPRINGFIELD – Marie I. Lewis, 61, a resident of Springfield for most of her life, died at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007, at her home.
She was born Aug. 23, 1946, in Chicago, the daughter of Richard and Jean Wardzinski. She married Gary C. Lewis. Her parents preceded her in death.
Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker and member of Church of the Little Flower.
Surviving are her husband, Gary C. Lewis of Springfield; two sons, Michael J. (wife, Tammi) Steiner of Williamsville and Scott Steiner of Springfield; three grandchildren, Jordyn, Cade and Emma; sister, Diane (husband, Peter) Rizzuto of Chicago; and two brothers, Victor Wardzinski of Cape Canaveral, Fla., and Jim Wardzinski of Winter Park, Colo.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, at Church of the Little Flower. Funeral Mass will be at noon Wednesday at Church of the Little Flower, with Monsignor John Ossola officiating.
