SPRINGFIELD – Margaret M. ‘Margie’ Mordacq, 82, of Springfield died at 1:55 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2009, at her residence.
She was born June 27, 1926, in Springfield, the daughter of Edward and Margaret E. Dolan Flesch. She married Charles E. ‘Charlie’ Mordacq on May 15, 1953.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Edward and Joseph Flesch.
She is survived by her husband, Charles E. ‘Charlie’ Mordacq of Springfield; two daughters, Pat Baska and Carol Ann (husband, Stan) Squires, both of Springfield; two sons, John (wife, Michele) Mordacq of Wheaton and James E. (fiancee, Sandra Milliman) Mordacq of Springfield; four sisters-in-law; seven granddaughters; a grandson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Margie was a homemaker and a member of Church of the Little Flower. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and attended Brown’s Business College. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2009, at Staab Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be held at 5 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at Church of the Little Flower, with
Msgr. John Ossola officiating. Burial will be at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
