Margaret C. Thomas

Margaret C. Thomas, 101, of Springfield, died at 6 pm, Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Illinois Presbyterian Home. She was born July 23, 1915, in Anthony, KS to Hal and Ethel Fay (Smith) Ecker. She married M. Allan “Al” Thomas in 1936 and he preceded her in death in 1970.

She is survived by one son Jack J. (Marie-Claire) Thomas of Tucson, AZ; two grandsons, Derek (Elaine) Thomas of Eureka, IL and David Thomas of Austin, TX and two great grandsons, Garrett and Dalton Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Jerry Thomas; sister, Betty Thompson and brother, William Ecker.

Margaret was a member of Laurel United Methodist Church. She was a resident of Springfield most of her life.
