SPRINGFIELD – Lynn M. Tiger Lee, 47, a lifelong resident of Springfield, died at 3:32 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, at home after a long illness.
She was born Aug. 3, 1962, in Springfield, the daughter of William M. and Joyce L. Watson Lee.
She was preceded in death by her father; grandma, Hilda Watson; and an uncle, George L. Watson.
She was a homemaker. She formerly worked for the state of Illinois, Department of Human and Family Services, and was a private duty nurse.
Lynn was of the Catholic Faith. She was a member of Freecycle of Springfield. She was very active socially on Internet groups. She was a volunteer at Serving Jesus Willingly Ministries. She was a great cook and enjoyed making candy, watching movies and spending time with her granddaughter and her terrier, Bernie.
Surviving are a son, Chris W. (Zula) Lee of Springfield; a granddaughter, Michelle H. Lee; three sisters, Leanne (Tim) Roseberry, Lisa Lee and Kimberly McIntosh, all of Springfield; four half sisters, Stephanie Lee, Angel Lee, Gina Lee and Geneva Lee; two brothers, Leslie Lee and Jack McIntosh, both of Springfield; a half brother, Billy Lee; and several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, at Staab Funeral Home, with the Rev. Sam Winger officiating.
