Louise A. Reynolds, 77, of Springfield, died at 8:05 am, Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born January 21, 1936 in Farmersville, to Louis and Helen Boehler Kraus. She married James Reynolds on February 11, 1956 and he survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Brenda (Bernard) Flesch of Springfield; two sons, Gregory J. (Jeannie) Reynolds of Springfield and Daniel P. Reynolds of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Krista Flesch, Caitlin Reynolds, Matt & Jimmy (Rio) Flesch and Chris (fiancé Christina) Reynolds; three great grandchildren, Ethan, Owen and Karmyn Flesch; one sister Janet King of FL; five brothers, Joseph and James (Connie) Kraus both of Pekin and Robert (Linda), Jerry (Gail) and Larry (Karen) Kraus all of Farmersville; Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law, Carl and Mary Reynolds, Rose Reynolds, Priscilla Reynolds, Pat Tansky and Richard and Norma Reynolds and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Gary Reynolds, one sister Alvina Manel and one grandchild Megan T. Flesch.
Louise was a charter member of Christ the King Church and was one of the original choir members. She was a volunteer at St. John’s Hospital.
Visitation: 4-7 pm, Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Staab Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 pm.
Funeral Mass: 9:30 am, Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Christ the King Church with Reverend Joseph Ring officiating.
Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
