Lorraine Evelyn Clark Pepin, 91, of Springfield died at 9:15 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2010, at Heritage Manor in Springfield. She was born August 20, 1918, in Springfield, IL, to Herbert and Mabel (McKirdy) Callarman. She married Arch Pepin and he preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her 1st husband, Charles A. Clark; her parents; a brother, Wayne; and a sister, Lucille Weist.
Lorraine is survived by her two daughters, Judy (husband, George) Lambert and Charlene (husband, Don) Moser, both of Springfield; 3 stepsons, Ted (wife, Penny) Pepin of WY, Tom (wife, Carol) Pepin of Kansas City, MO, and Bob (wife, Lori) Pepin of Elko, NV; a sister, Doris Holliday of Springfield; 6 grandchildren, Michelle (Mark), George (Lisa), Craig (Lori), Vicki (Kevin), David (Crystal), and Beth (Tim); and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and was a former member of several church groups. She enjoyed reading and performed many hours of volunteer work. Lorraine was a former Brownie Scout and Girl Scout Leader. She worked in the clerical department at the original Illinois National Bank, retiring after 7 years.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at Christ Episcopal Church, with a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Dr. Gregory Tournoux officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
