Linda Neal, 73, of Springfield, died at 11:08 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2011 at St. John’s Hospital. She was born November 30, 1937 to Elmer and Edna Lynn. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Lois DeMarco and Betty Pierceall.
She is survived by five daughters, Melodie Eskew-Wall of Homer, AK, Debbie and Linda Eskew both of Springfield, Freda (Richard) Kauzlarich of Easton and Betty Eskew of Normal; one son Robert L.(Charity) Eskew, Jr. of Springfield; twenty-six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one sister Susan (Tom) Bias and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Linda was a resident of Springfield most of her life. She was a server at several restaurants and a Nurses Aide at several area nursing homes and also was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing Bingo, crocheting and spending time with and caring for her family.
Visitation: 10-11 a.m., Friday, January 28, 2011 at Staab Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11 a.m., Friday, January 28, 2011 at Staab Funeral Home with Monsignor John Ossola officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
