Lillian Marie Lynch, 83, of Springfield, died at 11:45 am, Thursday, May 26, 2016 at St. John’s Hospice. She was born June 12, 1932 in Clifton Terrace, IL, to Raymond C. and Katherine M. Zahn Howard. She married Charles E. Lynch, Sr. on September 10, 1955 and he survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Mary L. Rogers of Dawson; one son, Robert L. Lynch of Macomb; three Grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, William Thomas Howard and two sons, James W. Lynch and Charles E. Lynch, Jr.
Lillian owned and operated Lillian’s Beauty Salon and worked for Roland’s Beauty Shop for twenty years.
She was a member of Sangamon County Homemaker Extension Service; Retinitis Pigmentosa Association and was Consumer Consultant for Retinitis Pigmentosa suffers for the State of Illinois.
Graveside Service: 11:00 am, Friday, June 10, 2016 at Woodside Cemetery in Hillsboro

I remember at Alice's house when Lil was putting men to their knees with her strength by putting pressure on their neck,shoulder area. We were all so amazed and Lil just giggled. She was a strong woman....in every way.
