Leland W. Bormann
Leland W. Bormann, age 83, beloved husband and devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, went to be with the Lord on July 8, 2007. After a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease, he passed away at his residence in Colorado Springs, CO.
Lee was predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Anita Marie (Stoltz) Bormann.
A veteran of WWII and proud patriot, he will be greatly missed by his children Steve (Terry) Bormann, Beth (Bill) Nagel, Carla (Paul) Behrenberg, and Gwynne (Tim) King, and by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 12 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Staab Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Elm Street Christian Church on Friday, July 13 at 9:30 a.m. with Pastor Paul Cox officiating. Internment will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Sangamon County Interveterans Burial Detail providing military honors.
