Leah Faye Lentz, 88, of Springfield, died at 1:36 pm, Sunday, August 21, 2016 at The Mosaic of Springfield. She was born July 23, 1928 in Farmersville to Leo and Loretta (Krause) Millburg. She married Donald Lentz on October 15, 1949 and he preceded her in death on September 24, 2002.
She was also preceded in death by parents; two sisters, Marietta Lobes and Alma Rose Menietti; one half-sister, Carol Jens; two brothers, John and Harlan Millburg and two half-brothers, Jim and Darrell Donaldson.
Survivors include two daughters, Jeannette (Tom) Bland of Springfield and Lynette (Steve) Kueltzo of Aurora; three sons, Ted (Linda) Lentz of Springfield, David (Diane) Lentz of Browning, MO, and Dan (Julea) Lentz of Browning, MO; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Millburg; two half-brothers, Andy and David Donaldson and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Faye was formerly employed with Franklin Life for 4 years as an insurance premium calculator, but was primarily a homemaker. She was a member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and on the Altar & Rosary Society at St. Agnes Church. Faye enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family.
Visitation: 4-7 pm, Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Staab Funeral Home in Springfield with a prayer service at 4 pm and rosary service at 7 pm.
Funeral Mass: 10 am, Monday, August 29, 2016 at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Church with Reverend Christopher House officiating. Burial will follow at St. Maurice Cemetery in Morrisonville, IL.
