Kenneth R. Fults, Sr.
SPRINGFIELD – Kenneth R. Fults, Sr., 64, of Springfield, died Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at St. John’s Hospital.
He was born October 19, 1942 in Springfield, IL, the son of William T. and Mary C. Strebel Fults. His parents and one son, Rodney Fults, preceded him in death.
Mr. Fults retired in 2002 from the State of Illinois as a labor compliance officer. He was a member of St. Aloysius Church and Knights of Columbus Council #4175. He enjoyed bowling and golfing and watched all sports including the St. Louis Cardinals, Fighting Illini, St. Louis Rams, and Chicago Bulls.
Survivors: two daughters, Jodi (husband, Luis) Perez and Lori (companion, Sam Bick) Fults, both of Springfield; one son, Kenny Fults, Jr. (companion, Jennifer Fissel) of Springfield; three grandchildren, Kara Perez, Jada Perez, and Brady Bick; two brothers, Jim Fults of Pleasant Plains and William (wife, Jean) Fults of Anchorage, AK; two aunts; three nieces; and several cousins.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Visitation will be held 4:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, June 22, 2007. Services: 9:30 a.m., Saturday, June 23, 2007, Reverend Robert Franzen officiating. Burial: Calvary Cemetery. Staab Funeral Home of Service.
