Kenneth J. Nolan, 64, of Greenview, IL, died at 4:40 am, Friday, November 29, 2019 at Ohio State University Hospital with his wife by his side. He was born September 10, 1955 in Springfield, IL to James J. and Lucy M. (Gietl) Nolan. He married Rita Shields on October 20, 1984.

He is survived by his wife, Rita of Greenview; mother, Lucy Nolan of Springfield; three sisters: Bobbi (Al) Abbott of Nebraska, Nancy (Bob) Medd of Florida, Kathy (Dave) Lewis of Chicago and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, James J. Nolan and brother, James G. Nolan.

Kenneth was a truck driver for over 35 years and owner/operator of Nolan Trucking, Inc. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed wood working and loved pets.

Visitation: 11:30 am – 12:30 pm, Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Staab Funeral Home-Springfield, IL.

Funeral Service: 12:30 pm, Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Staab Funeral Home-Springfield, IL with Reverend Jim Isaacson officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family of Kenneth Nolan c/o Rita Nolan.
