Karen Lynn Elliott

Karen Lynn Elliott, 70, of Springfield, IL died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at her home. She was born October 27, 1942 in Elgin, IL to David and Opal Webb Graf. She married Franklin Arthur Elliott on October 13, 1976 and he preceded her in death on April 4, 2000.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Elliott and Jeff Elliott, both of Springfield; three grandchildren, Jeremy, Holden and Ruby Elliott and her two amazing caregivers, Misty Hicks and Mindy Rhodes.

She worked at St. John’s Hospital from 1989 until her retirement in 2008 as a receptionist. She loved quilting, reading and spending time in her yard and shopping.

Visitation: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Staab Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Staab Funeral Home with Chaplain John Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
