Julia Ann Allen Schuller, 92, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital. She was born June 21, 1929, in Springfield, the daughter of Helen (Novek) Urban. She married Charles Allen and he preceded her in death on April 23, 1984. She later married Clarence Schuller and he preceded her in death on June 13, 2008.
Also preceding her in death are her mother; and one daughter, Karen Gall.
Survivors include two daughters: Linda Tice of Springfield and Sharon Horrighs of Orlando, FL; one son-in-law, Jim Gall of Quincy; four grandchildren: Lance (Heather) Gansky, Lindsay Pence, Ryan (Cassie) Allen, and Cole (Amanda) Bloomfield; and eleven great-grandchildren: Kaelan (Kelsey), Joshua, Brandon, Austin, Tylor, Isabella, Jaedyn, Collin, Ryleigh, Nakoa, and AyRyan.
Julia was a lifelong resident of Springfield. She provided for her family as a homemaker. She was a lifelong member of the Ski and Boat Club. She enjoyed fishing in Minnesota and Lake Okeechobee. Julia loved going to the beach and watching the ocean waves.
A private graveside service was held at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Hospice Program.
