Judith “Judy” J. Parker Foster Brown of Springfield, passed away at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at her residence.
Judy was born October 23, 1932 in Mt. Sterling, IL, the daughter of James A. and Lois Rigg Easley. She married Fred Brown, and he survives.
She is also survived by her daughter, Diana (Charles) Weyhenmeyer, Jr. of Springfield; step-children, Buddy (Cheryl) Foster, Pamela Foster, and Todd (Dawn) Foster all of Springfield; grandchildren, Della (Raul) Palacios and Jennifer (Amy Howe) Remack, all of Denver, Charles “Chip” (Erica) Weyhenmeyer III of Springfield; great grandchildren, Isabella and Ofelia Palacios, and Benjamin and Luke Weyenmeyer. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Judy was a joyful, fun loving person who loved to dance and loved her husband and family very much. She was a member and past president of Springfield Women’s Bowling Association for two years, DAV Auxiliary, and American Business Women’s Association.
Judy had worked at Association of Illinois Electrical Co-ops for 13 years, Central Illinois Builders of AGC for 12 years, Scott Air Force Base, Fairbanks, AK 1 ½ years, State of Illinois 2 years, and retired in 1998 from H&H Foods Inc. in Mercedes, TX after 14 years.
Visitation: 5 – 7 p.m., Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Staab Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 17, 2016 at Staab Funeral Home, with Pastor Thomas Christell officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to HSHS Cancer Institute.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Judy in my growing up days as a very fun loving person. I remember her bowling with my mom. I know my mom and dad (Davey and Evelyn Davison) were waiting for her with open arms so not to worry she is in great hands now. Love to your family.
