SPRINGFIELD – Joyce Lynn Davidage, 67, of Springfield, formerly of Collinsville and Jacksonville, Fla., died at 10:40 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, 2009, at St. John’s Hospital.
She was born Dec. 12, 1942, in Springfield, the daughter of LaRue and Helen Dixon Stinnett; they preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Ned and Scott Davidage; three grandchildren, Jake Manning, Garrett and Clayton Davidage; a sister, Donna (Richard) Serena of Springfield; a brother, Greg (Patricia Doyle) Stinnett of Pleasant Plains; an aunt, Eileen Sheibley of Peoria; a niece; three nephews; and several cousins.
Joyce was a Springfield resident for most of her life. She retired from the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, at Staab Funeral Home, with Robert Green officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
