John Wes “Dog” Hull, Jr., 53, of Springfield died at 10:27 p.m. Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born December 4, 1959 in Springfield to John W. and Margaret Givens Hull, Sr. His parents preceded him in death. He married Sharry L. Kunz on September 24, 1983 and she survives.
Also surviving are three sons, John W. III, Joe, and Jake Hull all of Springfield; a sister, Brenda (Vernon) Humphrey of Mauk, GA; two brothers, Donny (Collene) Hull and Glen Hull (companion Shelly Turnbull, both of Springfield and several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
John loved his dogs, Gunner and Popeye, his favorite meal was his loving wife Sharry’s Spaghetti. He loved spending time with his family, loved watching NASCAR, was a huge Bears fan, loved shooting pool, playing Candy Crush and Battle Pirates. He was a drywaller by trade.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Staab Funeral Home.
Graveside Service: 11 a.m. Friday, November 15, 2013 at Camp Butler National Cemetery with honors provided by the U.S. Army.
Memorials may be made to the family of Mr. Hull.
