JoAnne Lanzotti Schleyhahn, 77 of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022. She was born July 7, 1945 in Springfield, to Joseph and Sarah Ursini Lanzotti.
Survivors include one daughter, Kim (Doug) Anderson of Sherman; one son, David J. Schleyhahn of Sherman; two grandchildren, Nicholas Cody and Lauren (Pat) Kain; and six great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Mia, Giovanni, Bostyn, Naomi and Maverick.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Lanzotti.
JoAnn was a hairdresser for many years and later worked as a bartender.
She loved spending time with her family, especially as “Gigi”, which was one of her greatest joys. After tending to her beautiful flowers, you would often find her sitting on her back deck with a glass of wine in hand.
Visitation: 11 am – 1 pm, Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.
Funeral Service: 1 pm, Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Kim,Doug,Dave and family, JoAnne was a sweetheart! I always enjoyed running into her out and about around Springfield. She was a pleasure to run into. Always smiling and always was asking how my family was doing. She will be missed. She was a GREAT lady!! I will keep you and yours in my thoughts and prayers. With deepest sympathy.
